Overhearing my conversations with God

There I was, looking at myself in the mirror and an avalanche of questions began to reign in on me. “Does God think I’m an idiot? Do I really pass up opportunities to help myself and waste time whining to God? Does God get tired of listening to me?”

moment, the Me that likes to talk with God started to think: “Maybe I do take God’s name in vain by calling this Being before I try to improve things myself. Maybe, I’m not only using God's name in vain when I give God the erroneous last name "Damn".”

In a reminiscent way, I pondered if I had wasted precious moments with God. Even though God is everywhere and ever present, lots of shitty moments with God just seem to add up to shit. At this point, I decided, I have to get real. If I want God to respect me, I need to become a little bit more disciplined and self-contained and not shrill at every little problem that comes my way.
